If you experience difficulties with downloading please check the following common issues:
1. Please check that your web browser is set to 'allow Pop Ups' from unippm.com.hk
3. Please check that your 'Download Location' under 'My Download Preferences' in 'My Account' are set-up correctly.
MAC Users - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To change or update your 'Download Location' please follow the steps below:
Safari & Chrome
Type your file path into the 'Download Location' field in 'My Download Preferences' under your 'My Account' settings.
Suggested example:
/users/yourmacusername/downloads/universal
yourmacusername = the name exactly as it appears next to the 'home' icon in 'Finder' on your MAC.
Click 'Update'
Using the above filepath the first time you download from unippm.com.hk - the download manager will automatically create a folder labeled 'Universal' inside your 'Downloads' folder on your MAC. Subsequently all future tracks that you download will be automatically saved in this location.
Firefox
Firefox users can also follow the same (Safari / Chrome) steps outlined above to set their download location but if you don't feel confident typing the filepath manually - Firefox users can follow the alternative steps below:
1. Create a 'new folder' labelled 'Universal' in your preferred location on your MAC (we suggest you create this folder in 'Downloads')
2. Open Firefox and click on the word 'Firefox' in the top navigation bar, select preferences
3. Select general preferences
4. In the downloads section under 'save files to' - click choose
5. Browse for and select the 'universal' folder you created in step 1 above
6. Copy the resulting line of text (filepath) from the window in Firefox and paste it into the 'Download Location' field in 'My Download Preferences' under your 'My Account' settings on the unippm.com.hk site.
Click 'Update' in the 'My Download Preferences' page on the website
The resulting 'filepath' should look like this:
/users/yourmacusername/yourchosenlocation/universal
All future tracks that you download will be automatically saved in this location.
